Blocking Visitors By IP Number Is Easy
First you will need to know the IP address or IP address range that you want to block. Then go into your web hosting control panel. If you are using cPanel you should have an option called "IP Deny Manager". Open that up and you will see a text box that says "Add an IP to deny:". Enter the IP number that you want to block, such as 81.17.23.76. If you want to block a range of IPs you can enter in 81.17.23. which will block 255 IPs or even just 81. which will block about 16 million IPs or the range of 81.0.0.0 - 81.255.255.255. This is great for shutting out those pesky countries whose culture seems to think it's ok to spam, scam, or phish us without mercy...!
